Rain, rain & yes yet more of the flippin wet stuff!
up to cummingstone (moray coast)for the reputed 'special micro & dryer climate'. micro climate my foot! climbed one route which was lovely and then the heavens opened......= lunch stop whilst the crag dried.....Ha as soon as we stepped out it started again. = 3hr at the inverness wall. So the next day, though driving through heavy rain we pulled up to the kingussie crag ....reccied the crag, geared and roped up, chalk on hands......and then the spots again began to fall, and countinued to became more determined.....! so a very frustrated me began the long drive down the road back to glasgow.
the bank holiday weekend was saved however by a dry but chilly....quad rocks (& Naddin's ice cream!) & Hawkcraig!
Cheers
