It's remote. The approach is 1hr, 30 min walk in, but it's all on the flat with a decent path. The hut gives access to loads of remote Munros/Corbetts that many folk don't normally get around to.

The remoteness of the hut gives it a great 'getting away from it all' feeling. It has a big log burning stove (wood supplied).

You can drive quite close to the hut but I'm not sure I'd take my car along the track, however, apparently it is doable: here’s the blurb from the website:
Access: By public road from Cannich to E end of Loch Affric, then five miles of rough track. Track is motorable with care for street cars, although 4x4s are better.
Important: access is strictly for two vehicles only; if the two vehicle rule is broken then the concession to use the track may be lost. Parking within 200 yards of hut
